Job Title: UI Software Design Engineer

Job Description:

FarSite are developing an exciting new range of advanced communications products and to manage, monitor and configure these products we need engineers with HTML5, PHP, Javascript, XML and server side database experience. The products will be sold all over the world.

You will be working in Shekou, Shenzhen with our team of Software Development Engineers and also with the Engineers at our UK office.

There may be opportunities to work at our UK office for short periods of time for some projects.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 2 years development experience after University
  • Writing in HTML5 and CSS
  • Writing in Javascript
  • Writing in PHP
  • Familiarity with XML
  • Used jQuery
  • Familiarity with Ajax
  • Use of server side databases
  • Able to read and write in English and follow design specifications written in English

Minimum Qualifications:

Computer Programming Degree or similar

The Interview Process

There will be a one to one interview with a member of our Chinese staff and also an interview in English with a Director of the company. You will also be asked to complete a test of your programming skill.

The staff at FarSite’s office in Shenzhen develop and test new products and support FarSite’s current communications products working in conjunction with the Engineering team in the UK office.
